1) Parker Conrad Harrison arrived. Ken and Jess are the proud parents of a healthy baby boy, and Harrison Lloyd is excited about his first cousin on Danza's side. I took way too many pictures to post to the blog, but you can check out the Picasa photo album here.
2) We got snow. Lots of snow for southern Indiana standards. I'm estimating about 12 inches or so in Bloomington.
3) Harrison got to see his first real snow. He likes to put on his sub-arctic snow suit and be negligently launched into the air above the snow. I believe he is a thrill-seeker.
4) Harrison was forced to play with a bouncy-seat thing that he is clearly too small for. In most instances he would retract his hands into the bottomless depths of the seat and rest his head.
He thought of it more as a man-trap or torture device than a play thing.
5) Don and Anne were in town from Denver for the birth of Parker. They made a trip down to Bloomington yesterday to get some smiles out of Mr. Personality.
This is Harrison threatening to punch someone for some unknown reason.
6) Harrison continues to develop a fondness for baths. He doesn't care so much for the getting-clean part, but he does enjoy splashing around.
7) I bought an ax. With this ax I chopped firewood and neatly stacked it next to the front porch so that the family can survive the harsh winter. Strangely, I prefer to get a workout and burn calories by doing activities such as chopping wood, digging holes, and shoveling snow instead of "working out" as most people understand it. This is my woodpile. My new ax is splendid.
8) And finally, the family decided to start wearing our winter hats around the house. I don't know why this is notable except that we had some good pictures of our hat-wearing protocol.
