The snow-waddle!

We got some snow today so Harrison was crammed into his snowsuit for some playtime outside. He had a very difficult time walking in his ski bibs and snow boots. See for yourself. Quite funny, and he enjoyed every minute of it...we think.

He looked ridiculous walking, but he only fell a few times. Here is a frame-by-frame of a go-down.

Once on the pavement too.

And video:

Corydon Christmas

We went to Corydon on Christmas afternoon. Danza's brothers met us down there and we celebrated the Harrison family Christmas. Naturally, the kids made out like bandits and the adults did a dirty Santa exchange and didn't make out quite like bandits.

Unfortunately, Max had been sick (24 hour vomit and poo sickness). Apparently Emily caught a bit of it, plus Justin, plus Randy, and we haven't heard an update from Ken, Jess and Parker. So far the Lloyds are OK but Danza has felt a bit under the weather today.

Anyway, I don't have many pictures from the Corydon trip except for these shots of the cousins on the couch in their Christmas shirts. Whenever Harrison sits on a couch, he gleefully slams his head back into it repeatedly until he gets a headache.

Christmas morning

So here are the action shots. As soon as we brought him into the living room on Christmas morning, he smiled ear to ear as he saw all the wonderful things under the tree!

Christmas

I'm going to have to split up the Christmas post due to the number of pictures I want to share. Here is the first.

Harrison got an old fire truck from Nana and Pops (much like the one I had when I was a kid). I just have to take apart the hand-crank siren to see if I can get it working again.

He also got a new ball (nerf, because he has a strong throwing arm), a bunch of cardboard blocks to build architectural marvels with, a Radio Flyer trike (which he is currently too small for but he certainly loves to be pushed around on it), a music set including a tambourine, rhythm sticks, harmonica, wooden "loud noise" blocks, and a few other musical necessities, some books, some new puzzles, some stuffed animals, and a few other items that I'm forgetting.

Haircut #2

We decided to spruce Harrison up for the holidays so our friend Carla gave him his 2nd-ever haircut. Before...shaggy and dirty. After...so fresh and so clean.

The best game

1. Go to the laundry room
2. Stand in the dog bowl
3. Pound on the wall for one minute
4. Pose with first-place dog bowl trophy

More of the cousins

I just love these videos.

Wagon rides

3rd trimester

This was in my "blog it" pile but I never blogged it. Now it is time. Magnificent.

Make 'em tight

Harrison wanted skin tight Christmas pajamas...like 2nd skin tight. So his Nana went into action. After about 15 minutes we had him squeezed into this charming and festive pj set. He's trying to seduce someone in that last picture, we're just not sure who.

Christmas tree

We went to get our Christmas tree last Sunday. It was awesome because Harrison is old enough to point to his favorite trees.

So we marched over to his favorite, cut it down, paid our money and threw it in the back of the truck.

This is last year at the same tree farm. Both Harrison and our tree were scrawny.
