MOTORBOAT!!!

Harrison gets so excited thinking about taking out the boat with Dad to fly fish. To pass the time until his is old enough, he just sits around and makes his motorboat sounds.

I'M HOWWISON!!!! And I know how to use a computer! My cousin Emmy has been blogging for months now, so between naps and feedings and jumperoo time, I figure I'll lend my creative genius to Dad's blog. No, it's not a competition between Emmy and I...it just looked like a fun challenge at this stage of my development. Like Emmy, I plan to only add extra-super-special content because that's the way I am.

This little movie makes me laugh. Mom thought I was being all cute rolling around so she got out the video camera. I decided to give her something extra special for her short documentary. You have to turn up your volume for the full effect.


Now that I've number two'd, I can finally move forward with my day.

Firewood chronicles cont. - the redneck fix

From all my cutting and chopping I had ended up with multiple piles of firewood at least a quarter mile back in the woods at Yellowwood. I had an old Craftsman yard cart that I somehow wrangled away from mom and dad years ago, but when I attempted to pull it behind the ATV it would sway and tip and dump my wood all over the trail. Then one of the cart's tires went flat.

I tried pulling it with 200 pounds of firewood with one tire and one bare rim but that just got ugly. So I got busy cutting through the rusted bolts holding the frame and axle to the plastic tub, and after burning up the old Dremel, I now have a tub that easily drags behind the man-machine and delivers my wood to the awaiting truck at the Yellowwood gate.
