We feel very lucky that Sage is so gentle around Harrison, and accepting of him. Especially considering she is a 140+ pound carnivore that has probably had thoughts of eating him for a between-meal snack. Her tail has whacked him in the face several times, which brought tears, but nothing major.

Gentle giant
We've been taking a lot of pictures lately, so it is my duty to blog. Also because Dad lectured me today about how we need to update the blogs more often.

She always keeps watch over him.
And she puts up with me always messing with her.
Did you know that a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's? Actually, that isn't true. I just did the research.

Tricked out stuff
I spent the past few days calling every conceivable store in Bloomington that might carry snow sleds. Sold out...everywhere. And no more shipments arriving this late in the season. BUT ALAS, ALL HOPE WAS NOT LOST. During lunch today, I decided I better drive by Kleindorfer's Hardware & Variety Store, and sure enough they had several sled options sitting out front! I bought a saucer sled for the future, and a tricked out multicolor superspeed tub sled for TODAY!
Tricked out toddler on the fastest sled in the 'hood.

Back up your junk
Our iMac hard drive crashed and was unrepairable. It's currently in the shop to have a new hard drive installed. Luckily, our 20,000+ pictures and videos were backed up daily to an external hard drive so we don't think we've lost any of them. Yes, we have very itchy shutter-fingers and our iPhoto library has grown at a fanatical rate since Harrison was born.
But a word to the wise...get an external hard drive and back-up software and USE IT. If we hadn't, we would have lost many of our photos from Harrison's first 17 months!
The computer should be back this week. And we'll try to catch up on the blog front.
